Rising electricity bills and unpredictable load-shedding have pushed solar onto rooftops across Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad. But the right system depends on what you actually use — and the cheapest quote is rarely the best value.

Start with your bill, not the panel

Look at twelve months of electricity bills and note your units per month — especially in June and July. That number, not the size of your roof, decides how big your system should be.

Keep it clean, keep it producing

Dust is the silent output killer in Pakistani cities. Panels cleaned regularly — gently, and never with harsh chemicals — produce noticeably more than neglected ones.

A walkthrough on safe panel cleaning. Always follow your panel manufacturer’s guidance.
  • Ask for the panel and inverter brand and warranty in writing.
  • Check that wiring, breakers and earthing are included in the quote.
  • Confirm who handles after-sales service and how fast.
